***IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT PARKING***
At the last CRL event, we had a lot of people show up, which was AMAZING but it caused some problems for some of the neighborhood people trying to leave their driveways because of all the cars parked alongside the road.
It *is* hard to see oncoming traffic when there are cars parked next to the driveways and the traffic comes down that road *very* fast.
We've decided the safest and best thing to do is for people to park at a designated spot and have people carpool to the event site so there are a maximum of 3-4 cars parked at the Charles River site.
We realize people don't all come at the same time so you can park at this designated spot and contact us either through Facebook (Messenger) or we can give you our cell numbers so you can call or text us to let us know you are at the parking lot and someone will come and pick you up.
The parking lot is the O&W Hurley Rail Trail parking lot, located at the intersection of Route 209 and Russell Road.
We will be there at 11:50 and wait for 5-10 minutes then make our first trip to Charles River. There will be kinks to work out but we want to be courteous to the people living in the area while planting seeds so we appreciate your patience and understanding while we work all of this out.

Please come out and join us to hold vigil for all of the animals this evil company profits off of. They make money off of the pain and torture of innocent animals. These animals are truly the most silent victims. We are bringing awareness to the community - we are bringing the truth of what they do into the light.
Charles River Laboratories (CRL) is the world’s largest breeder of animals for use in experiments. Half of all animals used in lab experiments are supplied by CRL.
They also conduct painful tests on animals for companies that produce industrial chemicals, pesticides, food additives, and pharmaceuticals. In these tests, the animals are force-fed test compounds, have experimental chemicals smeared onto their shaved skin, and are forced to inhale toxic substances. The animals may endure severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, convulsions, seizures, paralysis, and bleeding from the nose, mouth, and genitals before they ultimately die or are killed.
CRL is the second-largest importer of nonhuman primates into the U.S., bringing in thousands of monkeys who have been stolen from their homes in the wild or bred on decrepit monkey factory farms.
Our goal is to raise awareness and request that they change their model to non-animal testing methods. They are usually cheaper and more effective.
We will have a banner and signs - all you need to bring is yourself.
You can park along the side of the road (be careful getting in and out of your car) or if you want to meet somewhere and carpool there, we can arrange that as well.
